Well you first have to know if you qualify for a badge, the most common badges can be found here https://derpibooru.org/forums/meta/topics/badges-and-stuff

If you qualify for one or more badges, you should say it here, specifying what badges do you qualify for, then a mod will see if it’s true and he/she will grant you your badge, here’s an example of how I got the perfect plot provider badge

It’ also worth mentioning that some badges are given “automatically” like the Artist badge or the badge that’s given each year in the community collab, so you don’t need to ask for them, they will appear eventually if you qualify for them

Primarily it’s for images, since descriptions can be machine translated.

Thank you for helping with translations! They are hard to keep up with, difficult to get right sometimes, and very, very helpful. If you have any translations that you’d like to see added to the descriptions of the images themselves please let me know. I think those make the artwork much more accessible for everyone.

I’d definitely be honored to earn a badge, but would it be difficult to earn a few?
