Might help if I read the thread. Seems that was already addressed. Yeah ignore me I stupided.

For the sake of the top bar, it should have stay in the setting page. As a link to the filter page now that there is too much filter option to share a page with the other parameter. But I know it was asked by some to be able to switch between their filter and “see all” at once and this is for them.
 
I will support the “right of the search box” proposition then.
 
Edit: Also is it really a thing to have many filters and share them? I only had one, always stick to it, and modify it myself whenever required. Why would one base his filter on someone else, excluding the default one?

Sometimes you feel like seeing everything, sometimes you want it all gone. Sometimes, you want only some gone.
 
Given how much screenshots are spammed when new episodes come out, that’s going to be a filter option, despite few people minding the rest of the time. And this whole discussion started because of meme spam.

Not about filters really but can you guys do something about how there are now so many things at the top now.  
With the size I have the page it’s now shifting things down a row just to fit it all and it’s just the Derpiboou name on it’s own.  
Like do we really need both account and settings up there, and faves, upvotes, and comments can all be accessed by going to our profile page so does all that really need to be there.  
I just think a little clean up would be nice.

We are doing that, yes - we can’t do everything at once. All the developers working on Derpi are volunteers doing it in their spare time, and all our frontend/JS people have been busy lately.

Just checking if you where, I knew it wasn’t going to be done right away but would be nice to get that soon.  
If I had experience doing this I would offer to lend a hand.

Just wanted to say I really love the feature so far. As someone who deletes cookies after every session, I love having presets I can choose from without the need to log on. I remember suggesting something similar in the last poll you guys had on tags. No idea if my idea inspired this change or not, but it still made me pretty excited to see a suggestion I made be implemented.

It says the Legacy filter carried over all of my old tags, but it didn’t actually do that, right? I needed to recreate all of my old tags.
 
If it can be done I’d like the personal filter to be the first on the list, above the Global Filters. :) Just so that I can get to my tags with the minimum amount of scrolling & clicks, like I used to.

We had some issues with how we were creating the legacy filter from old userdata but we got them fixed and as of now the legacy filters created should accurately recreate the filtering settings you had on your account before the change. If that’s not the case then how are/were they incorrect?

Kudos to the people who worked on this.

Well after some hours, I saw a bunch of popular filters. I still don’t think I really feel the need for such thing, but I guess I should try to have fun with the new toy of the moment before most filter creators get bored.

I often search through my favorites for images containing/not containing certain tags, so if the faved_by:User functionality could be included in some capacity in the filter section I’d find that very convenient. I know that faved_by:User isn’t a tag but rather a search function, but if possible its inclusion in filters would be one of the biggest improvements I can think of to the site in terms of how I use it.

There have been times when I’ve wanted to search for images that may be hidden by my filters and I didn’t know which tags to unfilter to find them. Being able to toggle quickly and easily between my established filters and the global filters is a nice change.

some sugestions for merging things in the top bar.  
-link the Account button in the settings page, i dont think people click that one that much. or do they?  
-link the messagues in the notifications page.  
-or the filters button in the drop down menu for filters (“manage filters”?)

aye, to make having more than 2 personal filter list, we need a easier way to add/delete tags. otherwise it becomes too bothersome.

but no, i dont, i just have like 300 artists tags that draw horribly crapy porn, not-even-trying levels of ms-paint or bitchy stamp makers. plus a bunch of artists whit duck opinions.

if you try to delete a filter you are currently using, it says you cant do it because are not loged in.

Could there an option to add filters according to score as well as adding an option to make custom watch lists for people to subscribe too as well?

You can already filter by score in your settings, and I don’t know how many people would like to share premade watch lists.

What about an option to copy an old filter, letting you just maybe change 1 or 2 tags? Because it seems like it’ll be a pain to keep copying the same tags over and over when they’re going to be filtered on all my filters anyway
