The image grabber is having problems with DA again. now random artists’ images are giving out 5XX errors whenever one tries to upload anything of them, and it doesn’t get the normal preview res of images of any artist that doesn’t put download links.
 
The former only began happening today, but the latter has been happening for the last two weeks, at least.

It’s way more complicated to explain than just do it, so go to the fancy tag editor and see the difference between the lists of suggestions for queen umbr and queen umbra.

Encountering an error (e.g. title too long) when creating a new thread removes the button to add a poll, despite otherwise being the same interface.

One of the badges has a broken alt-text.

Oh - based on what @Wildcard71 said is it possible it just was waiting behind another job? Yesterday there was a huge reindexing job running, and it took almost 10 minutes for a tag alias to complete.
 
If this happens again, check the dashboard to see what jobs are running.

Bug: if you hide the featured picture, it will not be properly hidden when you land on the front page, browsing from anything besides DB itself. The hidden icon shows as it should (active) but the image is not hidden properly.
 
(And the reason I need to hide the image is the high threshold of acceptable “seizure warning” use and the lack of a related tag for non-strobing but otherwise photo-aggravating animations such as frame-to-frame, high contrast changes in large areas, regardless of how long the time between frame changes is.)

The site API returns standard JSON for deleted images (‘artist takedown’) instead of documented behavior. One-two months ago this worked right. Now it returns array with tags, statistics and image urls which all 404, but site page displays ‘artist takedown’. Please fix it, maybe adding ‘deletion_reason’ elements in output array as it was earlier?

Yeah, I reported that one about a month ago here.
 
With the state of things, it’s basically corrupting my cache of the site with every single moderator action taken. Once it’s fixed, I’ll have to get an entirely new version of the site’s metadata built.

So it turns out crossing 200,000 posts in a single thread breaks the site? IIRC when that one FlashLight pic hit the limit it completely broke comment pagination on the entire site and things had to be corrected manually…
