Can confirm, Chrome/Android 4.4

Can someone please explain what’s been going on with the host on this site? It keeps crashing.

It was down once, then down briefly again, now it’s fine.
 
We do not make guarantees of 100% uptime.
 
This outage was primarily caused by our server provider noticing a reported hardware fault in the offline management module in the server. While this did not affect normal operation, if left unfixed it could lead to difficulties resolving or noticing other faults, so we took the decision to perform the fix before the weekend rather than later, what with the finale and all.

So after the maintainence it seems some images posted in forum post are showing up broken, even a few posted before the site was down and where clearly working.

Images show up in the preview of posts in PMs but are broken in the posts themself,

I’m still getting broken inline images as well. Bork bork bork.

So today, I made myself a new avatar (In case you can’t tell.), however for some reason, all the posts and comments I made before I created the avatar don’t show it.
 
Am I the only one who’s experiencing this problem?

How long ago did you change it? The site uses caching, so it may take a few minutes for the change to appear on older posts.

I’m pretty sure it’s stated on the account page that avatar changes can take up to 2 hours to propogate throughout the site.

Oh man, seriously, thank you for that– this place would’ve been a nightmare if there was some kind of server derp during/after the season finale; it’s gonna be bad enough that The Cutie Re-Mark is shaping up to be an MMC-Class RUINED FOREVER Event for all the people inclined to yell about the villain, but broken functionality in the middle of it would make it all considerably worse.

There are images posted last night that people were complaining about being broken this morning, but are working normally now; it just took a while for the fixes to propagate.

The thing with the first notification persisting seems to be fixed; haven’t noticed it at all in the last two or three days.

I was browsing through my notifications before clicking a post which led to the forums as always. What was weird was that there was a header that said “Model not found” and all my notifications disappeared (0). Checking back, it’s still subscribed but that was a bit surprising.
