Is not there a way to fix the “you can still see comments from a pic posted before a filtered tag was added to it” bug?

This is a problem that 99% of users here will never encounter, either because  
A: They don’t obsessively follow the new comments tab, and  
B: Because they aren’t constantly adding filters like you do. Seriously; How many tags are in your filters now?

that is not the point, the point is that this never happened before, adding a tag you filtered killed both old and new comments from your view, now it only kills the new ones posted after the tag addition.

No, it’s a real bug, though I think it’s older than our recent changes. It should be fixed going forward, though. We’ll get the old comments updated to have the correct tag values in their indexes over the next few days.

Okay, so there’s another user with the name background human (all lowercase). And when I go to either of our profiles and click “View posts this user has made,” it returns both my posts and his.
 
(Win7 SP1 64-bit, Chrome 39.0.2171.99 m, shouldn’t matter because it looks like a database issue.)

where the thumbnail seems to be missing, and replaced by the tags’ text.

We’re using Cloudflare as a first-choice CDN particularly for areas far from the real server (US, Aus, Korea, etc.), and sometimes one of their servers will report that they have the image ready to serve… but doesn’t. I’m not sure if we can put more stringent checks on our side to make sure they’re not lying.

Mmm, I don’t know, but surely something has to be fixed.  
Sometimes I have to refresh the page one or two times before seeing it correctly.

There’s a problem with tags like [/)^3^(](https://derpibooru.org/tags/_2F29_5E35E₂₈5C) - you can’t visit the tag page. It redirects you to the main page or shows 404. I think the slash and backslash are the cause. (Some of these tags work fine though.)

If I’m writing a comment on the image, and click “post anonymously”, it’s still shows my name and avatar in the preview.
 
It doesn’t seem to happen on forum posts, and the image comment does show as anon, however.

Really? I don’t remember this figure to be this close to the latest uploaded image’s ID (which is currently around 820280).

That page is heavily cached and only retrieves data every couple of hours.

I get that, but I thought that count didn’t include removed images… and they are way more than 200 or so.

Looking at the template code, the statistic intentionally includes hidden images, which are separately enumerated later on that page.
 
I’m taking the incentive here of going ahead and making it clearer.

I do not approve of how that search is being done, so I will redo it with a post reindex.

I can’t seem to upload an image. I filled out all the fields, made sure the artist wasn’t on the Do Not Post lists and it wasn’t already uploaded, gave it appropriate tags. but when I clicked “Create Image,” I just got taken back to the upload menu. Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug?

It might be something with the source; try saving the image and uploading from your machine. If that works, let us know what the source was.

Thanks, that worked. It was on DeviantArt, which I’ve uploaded from before, so I don’t know why it didn’t work this time.
