Rainbow Dash Trixie and Applejack talk to Gilda about Gallus's plight. And Gilda realizes how lonely he is. Gilda decides to be a big sister to the "little runt".

Gilda is like the big sister, Gallus is the middle child, and Gabby is the youngest one.

And over time Gilda forces Grandpa Gruff to go to afterschool councelling with Trixie on being a good guardian and then he understands his lack of parenting and makes up by deciding to play a bigger role Gallus upbringing.

And thus Gallus has not only friends but now he has a family. All he needs now is a mom.
