The School of Friendship despite its gorgeous appearance is actually massively underfunded.
Its why it can't hire teachers and they use friends instead.
In fact the building itself is an old mansion from some ambitious but naive nobleman who built it himself (albeit somewhat poorly) but was forced to sell it.
The building has great potential because it is spacious, and aesthetically pleasing but it also suffers from bad heating, bad plumbing and the cafateria food is still sub par.
