Flowershine was the daughter of Wild Fire before she broke up with Lucky Clover. The Girl Scout filly, Ginger Snap from Just for Sidekicks, is the daughter of Mando and WF.
 
Flowershine and Ginger Snap are half sisters.

I would agree that Greed seems to be a magical force in Equestria, though certainly not one of harmony. Besides the obvious example of dragons, think about the impressive displays of magic we’ve seen from “normal” (ie not Twilight) ponies.
 
Trixie’s show was her livelihood.  
Flim and Flam powered and operated a complex contraption in pursuit of wealth.  
And Rarity uses a ton of magic (telekinisis and gem finding) to run her profitable dress business.

That suit-of-armour villain sounds both awe-inspiring and terrifying and would actually fit perfectly into the actual show.  
I’d also prefer to keep him mute or taciturn, in contrast to Discord’s witty banter.
 
But what would his name be? Maybe… Aequalis (Latin for “sameness”)? Or perhaps… Ordo (Latin for “order”)?  
I dunno, I really like giving characters latin names.

Discord was once the Unicorn King.
 
He became Discord after he tried to use the unfinished spell that his court wizard, Star Swirl the Bearded, had created.
 
King Sombra is the older brother of Princess Platinum and son of the Unicorn King.
 
After the defeat of his father, Sombra was prepared to assume the throne only to grow enraged when the unicorns elected to instead be ruled alongside the pegasi and earth ponies by Celestia and Luna.
 
Hate fuelling his ambitions, Sombra began to dabble into the powers of the dark magic and after perfecting his new dark powers, he invade the nearby Crystal Empire in order to raise an army to overthrow the royal sisters.
 
Sombra, upon arriving the crystal empire used his new powers to corrupt the crystal kinghts and their ruler, the queen of the crystal empire.
 
The loving queen, so full of kindness and generosity, and her noble crystal knights, paragons of valor and honor, then became twisted and cracked creatures that felt nothing but the all-consuming need to fill the emptiness they now felt inside their hearts.

Bonus insane headcanon: Clyde and Sue aren’t Pinkie’s biological parents. Her real father is Sleipnir, who left her in the Pies’ fields as a babby for Reasons. Blinkie and Inkie vaguely remember, when all three of them were very young fillies, Pinkie having eight legs. They dismiss those memories as incorrect, accurate memories degraded by the passage of time, but…

Featherweight is Roid Rage’s son. Despite his son having no muscle mass and perusing decidedly non-athletic interests, Roid Rage remains a loving father and is a very enthusiastic supporter.

Scootaloo is the love child of Big Mac and Fluttershy. She was scared of being a single mother so she put her in an orphanage that has a chicken farm. Big Mac was never informed that he is a father and lives his life like usual.

Vinyl Scratch is Navi, she speaks entirely in ‘Hey Listen’

Solaris somehow survived whatever happens to timelines erased from existence, and reemerged into the universe right by Eggman’s Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park just as it was being destroyed by the Hyper-go-on Energy black hole. On the verge of death, Solaris merged with a Purple Wisp in a last-ditch attempt to survive, thus forming the Time Eater.
 
Also, Blaze’s dimension is several centuries ahead of mine. The explosion that ended the Solaris Project and split Solaris into Iblis and Mephiles also merged the two dimensions, explaining Blaze’s presence in the future.
