In the Crystal War Timeline, Braeburn saved the platoon he was in, but he himself got captured by Sombra’s minions. He was rescued eventually, but because of what he was subjected to his head wasn’t on right for a long time; he spent fourteen years in a mental hospital.

In reality Equestria is not one country but is actually several kingdoms, duchies and even republics ruled by the Princess.
There is a lot of autonomy to the point Celestia sometimes has very little say over certain parts of Equestria

Explorer in Training
Even though Equestria is seen as a paradise for adults, for children it would be a lot tougher.
In Equestria, children are expected to be training to be ready for adult tasks. Apprenticeship at the minimum age of 11 is very common. Foals at age 12 are allowed to be cashiers.
And corporal punishment is more common in Equestria.
Basically children are expected to grow up more quickly and be useful in society. They would have to both go to school and be apprenticed depending on their cutie mark.
That’s why Spike is Twilight’s assistant at such a young age.
It’s also not seen as abhorrent in Equestrian culture to sometimes shove kids around. Like with Spike. Or even Sweetie Belle pushing a lot of stuff. Some say it makes them hardy and prepared for the world.

Twilight is an average cook at best. Spike it’s usually the one who does most of the food whereas Twilight only does basic breakfasts or soups, just so she wouldn’t starve when the dragon is unavailable.
Except…oddly enough…burgers. Spike is still puzzled at Twilight being a supreme burger chef with different recipes, even publishing a recipe book.

This would be easier to believe if the CMC had ever actually stopped going to school.
To be fair, “Marks and Recreation” had them running a children’s day cam with no adult oversight. Plus there was one line in “The Last Crusade” where Scootaloo mentions that Starlight was thinking of letting them teach a class at the School of Friendship.

It’s clear that Spoiled Rich thwarted her own social advancement by alienating Applejack, Rarity, and Dashie. But the final nail in the coffin of her ambitions was when Derpy (whom she had also alienated) was awarded the Pink Heart of Courage.

Blueblood had a crush on Twilight ever since he was a colt. After all Twilight belonged to an old family of Canterlot. And she well learned. And very powerful. And yet has a modest personality (ironic considering who he was)
In fact when Rarity said Twilight was her friend, he got mad saying Twilight would never make friends with a lowly small town denizen like herself. Little did he know Twilight was right behind him when he said that.

Though ponies don’t have fingers to do the classic Three Stooges hand jive, pegasus use their wing feathers like fingers.
New Equus (G5) Earth pony magic can also be problematic, especially if there’s a mischievous earth pony. Old Equus (G4) earth pony magic on the other hand, isn’t problematic.

Because of her status as divinity among ponies and her extremely long live that could get really boring, there was a time when Celestia went….ermmmm, let’s just say “Zeus mode” on other ponies. In current days she’s deeply ashamed of that season and moment of weakness.

Pipp’s friend, Jazz can’t swim
In the Mane Melody Trio Jazz is the youngest, about at least one younger than Pipp at least. Maybe about 17-19? While Pipp is around 18-20. Rocky is the oldest, being around 20-23.
Rocky is already married, or at least he already has a girlfriend
In the Mane 5 Hitch is the oldest and Pipp is the youngest
Trixie is only around 18-20
Trixie roams the G5 world happily (This is true in my own canon)
