Rarity did so as early as a filly. She was obsessed with mining for jewels. Since she’s somewhat subpar at magic she had to make up with physical strength most unicorns don’t have.

For Rarity, Spike has made her gem collecting so much easier. Sweetie has no interest in it and she often is clumsy in caves, but both her and Spike take gem hunting seriously. This actually gives them quite a close friendship.

For hippogriffs, they domesticate seals which are non sapient. They basically train them like dogs.

Celestia and Cheerilee are very distant cousins.

Twilight Sparkle is somewhat disturbed by the times she had to wear an eyepatch in the past. Nowadays she lives somewhat afraid of becoming like Odin: wise, magical warrior with diplomacy and trickster traits….and one eyed.

She is probably the most genuinely happy and nice.

I was actually going to go with Sour Sweet comsidering she was both cheerful and domineering. Though her hapiness is more superficial and is probably would be more of a typical jerk cheerleader.

Mane 6 as Mega Man X antagonists (sans Sigma because Sigma would be too easy to include)

Fluttershy - Iris (The hardest one since hardly any antagonist fits Fluttershy at all. However, Iris is a rather peaceful and love driven reploid and both of them are prone to get extremely pained by the things she loves to drift appart like Celestia’s garden animals, getting sometimes the worst of her.)
Applejack - Colonel (Colonel is rather affable at his core and very dutiful to their own, kinda the repliforce and the apple clan. Yet they’re also extremely stubborn and would often get into hot waters out of their inflexibility at their inner codes.)
Pinkie Pie - Dynamo (Dynamo often seems to lack any sense of seriousness or care about the world. Easily the least inclined to conflict if only because he’s not precisely very driven beyond accepting contracts that amuse him. Pinkie and Dynamo often tend to be laid back if also rather unaware of the damage they cause)
Rainbow Dash - Vile (At her worst, Dash is often extremely impulsive, somewhat reckless and is extremely prone to shoot first ask questions later, even if Vile is much worse and far too sociopathic. Both of them love a good fight perhaps a bit too much and could be surprisingly resourceful despite their otherwise brawny behavior)
Rarity - Berkana (Berkana wants to prove she’s the best reploid out of sheer vanity, likes to wear a fairly stylish outfit with a mix between witch and queen. She gets somewhat flirty at X as well during the battle although is often just as dangerous as most of the villains.)
Twilight Sparkle - Gate (A lonely scientist driven mad by their sense of discovery and improvement and constantly feeling isolated from jealous or unsuportive fellows, they are both extremely smart and capable of magical or technological feats above their peers. To a lesser extend, Gate is also the only one of the antagonists from this list who wasn’t a flunky to Sigma but rather directed the plot of the game with Sigma only being a case of an emergency-weapon-resurrection-turned-wrong just like Twilight would rather take the lead over lending the lead to someone else.)

Rarity and Cheerilee used to be good friends as fillies. Cheerilee often had to make sure Rarity didn’t do anything too umhinged since Rarity was a bit overdramatic and sometimes threatened those whose fashion choices the white filly disagreed with.

Also Rarity’s sword rival was Derpy. Somehow Derpy always won against her whether at the kart race, arts and crafts, theater plays. Rarity could not understand why Derpy was so popular. Derpy though had no ideas they were rivals.

Rarity was like Vegeta and Derpy was like Goku.

Ok for my headcanon is that spike is sent out by twilight as the assistant of friendship was registered to be in an academy of dragons after the paperwing and magic kinds formed in a new breed. Since he’s a magic and paperwing dragon twilight told him to make new friends when he gets here.

Angel stopped running a few weeks after Twilight’s coronation; he was not a young bunny even in “The Ticket Master”.

Twilight was so used to adventures and problems she started to develop mild thrill seeking tendencies as the episode “Made In Manehattan”. It’s somewhat likely her “Velvet” genes started some mild awakening at that point.

These two ponies only work at Pipp’s salon when it’s super busy. Or Jazz And/or Rocky are unable to work or are busy with some sort of musical event

They have been shown working there. It’s been a while since they were. Last time one of them appeared was “All That Jazz” and the last time one of them were shown working at the salon was “The Game Is Ahoof” IIRC

Very interesting. Is this an Alternate Timeline? Or is this the same continuity as the show perhaps taking place after Twilight becomes sole princess in Season 9?

Also what is the difference between a paperwing and magic dragon?
