While there may be a few people that you are right about, it really bothers me when someone says “well before you were in support of it”. Do you personally know what my opinions in the past have been? Just because someone who is part of a demographic says one thing doesn’t mean everyone agrees with them.

As I read this thread (or some of it), politics, as usual, made it worse.
 
Now for everything else.  
Opinion part that people will hate me for: Now, I hate Molestia. So much that I filter it out. It’s overdone and stupid. Taking a canon pony and adding an obsession to them is retarded. But a movement to stop it? Even more retarded.

This doesn’t make a damn bit of sense–not the least of which is because this is a parody of a fictional character. People are protesting this? 10,000 things wrong with the world and this is happening? For that matter, why single out Molestia and not any of the hundreds of “Tyrant Molestia” pics and stories who compare her to Hitler? If you care that much about a fictional talking pony queen in a fictional land…there’s something wrong with you, for one thing.
 
Having read and laughed often at the jokes on Molestia, I’ve noticed something else: the majority of Molestia’s “victims” seem to be rather willing to go along with it. Twilight and Trixie don’t seem to be complaining. Luna’s just disgusted with it. (And what about Gamer Luna, which is damn near canon now?) Most ponies in the Molestia universe regard her antics as more laughable than anything else, and it’s not like Molestia doesn’t get burned every now and then.
 
10,000 things wrong in the world and this is what some people are up in arms about…probably because it feels good to protest it and doesn’t take much effort to do so. Rather than actually help victims of rape and molestation, let’s shut down a blog about a talking horse who likes to sniff butts. Anything but actually doing something about a real world problem. (For the NSA guy who might be reading this post–Twilight Sparkle is best pony. I don’t care what Obama said about Rarity the other night.)

I’m pretty sure this will all die down in less then a week. They are doing a lot of noise right now because the general brony fandom found out, but with people like Pixel kitties telling them to stop, they get much more resistance than support.
 
Somebody here suggested for us to find a a way to thank the mods on this site. is suggest we oen a thank you thread in the general section, and if there is a real intention to buy them something we can discuss it there.

Hardly. Most people here don’t like Molestia, and the blog is only slightly pervy, I would say not even enough to arouse anyone.

People tend to get butthurt over the smallest things nowadays. Maybe it’s because it is part of human nature to look for trouble. Our grandparents and great-grandparents likely had war and poverty to deal with and didn’t have time to deal with insignificant problems. Perhaps this the flaw of “peacetime”, it spoils us…

There are also other REAL LIFE problems to focus on such as poverty, child labour, human rights, unemployment, world hunger, etc.
