No, the Twilight Sparkle search WAS (just about) clean before it started. Now it’s (just about) clean.  
Flagging google search results was probably too much like hard work for tumblr activists, as a bunch of them said in the notes.

Fandom point-and-laugh blogs are typically lame and desperate for validation, and that one is no exception. But hey, I guess it gives these entitled shitlords something to feel superior about. It’s not like they could be doing something more helpful such as #SafeSearchWrapUp, that would require effort.

So now I’m watching PP and others do their thing again… but that aside, this DWM movement seems to have spawned off a trend for artists being hounded away from the fandom. It’s slow at the moment, but I think we all know that killing off APM would do this. A bunch of wannabe SJWs and “rebels” have realised that with enough harassment they can get rid of anything.
 
I’m really just repeating things that have already been said, but it really fucking annoys me and it bears repeating. They’re ruining people’s lives so they can make themselves look superior. Tumblrites and /mlp/, both are doing it now.

Why don’t other fandoms have shit like this?

I;m 99 percent certain they do. We just don’t hear about it because it isn’t relevant to us.
 
Ex: The Mew three thing. Pretty sure it was a big deal in the Pokefandom. Little mention of it here because it wasn’t relevant to us. Or anything in the sonic fandom. Big deal there, no relevance here. Little to No coverage.

Exactly. I’m sure the new Star Wars movie is creating loooooooads of drama for them. But our focus is on bitching about pony things, not space operas, so no “This is killing the Star Wars franchise” for us.
