That I can truly agree upon with. I never took it upon myself to cyber-bully, it’s just plain lame, pointless and just make ones look rather pathetic believing that threatening a person over the Internet is a way to resolve an issue.

It’s sad to because cyber-bullying is what made this whole thing explode in the first place.
 
Back when Pinkie Pony made the first DWM post it caused some controversy but some idiot started sending her death threats and some actually said they wanted to rape her.
 
This turned what could have a small conflict into a full blown war. Now it’s no longer about the DWM campaign arguments it’s about women,rape culture,name calling, backstabbing,ect,ect.
 
All because some idiot didn’t know when to shut up.
 
That is why I think bronies with there common since still intact need to come out against these actions and show the rest of fandom that were not bickering children how can’t get along.

Not too surprising, Fluttershy Replys is taking this all argument rather strongly, having a rather “I’m right and you are wrong” approach. By the fact that she (i have no idea who the author is, so ill go whith the fluttershy persona for identity) Closed her askbox after being swamped by comments i guess that she got some really nasty replies there.  
Sadly she seems to assume that the worse paints all of those who disagree with her, and derpybooru contains almost no user that suppered “DWM”.
 
By the way, dose this site have a published DNP list somewhere? This could be useful in avoiding posting these artists on the site by mistake.

these are also at the core of the problem the knee jerk reactions that going on.
 
Now some us at derpibooru are not blameless in this. In fact the whole he overreacted is because some commenters overreacted on his fulltershy post….wait no they they through insults at him for using an ask blog as a soap box.
 
So both side are blame here…again. But buy reacting in anger some users stooped down to his level and then he cut all ties with us.
 
The whole butt hurt thing is a two way street one active and one reactive.
 
I’m not saying he is right in his action in fact I he started it when he used an ask blog as place to voice his opinions and then act like child and dismiss and arguments from the other side as pro-rape bull crap.
 
Honestly I think that someone who runs an ask blog should leave there personal opinions out of it. It’s not what there followers came for all the want is the blog’s story or the art not politics and commentary on the hot button issue of the day.
 
If the blog owner want to have there voice heard then they should post it on there mod blog and if some one ask “whats you opinion on X” on the ask blog just link them to the mod blog and if you want to my opinion then go to this blog as it doesn’t have any of restrictions that comes with providing entertainment that an ask blog has.

Now I know what it feels like to lose interest in someone’s art that you like just because of the artist’s action. Let’s hope no more artist join this drama.

There were many a time I was ready to quit this site during the hot-button topic of racism and skin color of humanization ponies. However, I would not dismiss a whole group based on the vocal opinions of the few.
 
Due to some of the actions taken on by the more vocal supporters of the DWM group, they appearently employ selected comments of some members and use that to paint the whole group and community in a negative light. I see how some folk learn to take things out of context from the media instead getting out the facts and cause knee-jerk reactions on both sides.
 
Taking people’s words and comments and twisting it for their own benefit and cyber-bullying feels more disgusting that anything the jokes on Molestia have ever brought up.

Both sides had people who acted this way. I counted at least two poe accounts that tried to Pass as “DWM” supporters only to defame them. And someone ALLAYS swallowed the bait and thought that they where real.

Recently someone asked bhaalspawn not to blame derpibooru as whole over a down right wrong picture involving rape.(I will not going to link to as it was taken down and it single handily made him more of a supporter of the DWM because of how wrong it was)  
Now his response to the was “prove it”. Now I know what your thinking “why should we prove anything we haven’t done anything.” And no you haven’t but more vocal members of the community have and some things that have been were either wrong or taken out of context to paint all in a bad light.
 
I think we on derpibroou need take actions to show that were not a bunch asses who don’t care about others and who think rape is funny in real life.(witch we don’t) The only were going to prove that is if we start fighting this smear campaign. When ever. we our words taking out of context we post links that the full conversion or we go around showing people that most are sane by posting pics of some of the more cool headed comments on this hole drama fiasco.

If there is anything I despise, it’s the, “Either you’re with us or against us.” type of notion.

Those not willing to listen/understand will give us all the deaf ear.
 
Also, people will use that to say “look, now they are trying to look all noble and nice” and that will make people here get mad, and that will get the tumblrs mad and bla bla bla.

The more i think about this, the more it seems like a massive chain knee-jerk reaction to me.
 
The problem with DWM is their hostile and antagonizing approach: If you’re not with DWM you’re against them, a rape apologist and a rape culture supporter.  
This will obviously make everyone who doesn’t fully agree with them jerk their knees and kick DWM in the shin. DWM people interpret this as people not taking the rape issue seriously, and more rape apologist accusations follow.
 
What the DWM people fail to realize is that the reaction isn’t caused by people not taking rape seriously: I believe it happens because people take rape very seriously. Think about it: These guys, these “Rape culture supporting brony scum” guys, Hate rapists so much they will go absolutely apeshit if you even imply they might be indirectly supporting rape.
 
And thus the internet has created a knee-jerk loop that will last until our knees fall off.

And that is what this drama has become, when an individual starts starts something, maybe with good intentions, idiots for and against the issue will always mess things up and lose sight on what is really important.
