A sick part of me is wondering if the MLP animators have their own version of that infamous “Pay tribute to the Alpha Male, freeloader” storyboard the Rugrats animators done.

If you give people with drawing talents enough boredom/free time they will keep their mind busy, either to laugh at or because they genuinely enjoy it. There has to be trashed sketchbooks out there, maybe rotting in a garbage dump as extra measure. Would be a miracle if any of them surfaced. I doubt anything was saved to the servers digitally, it might have been drawn by hand and swapped between animators under the nose of others.

Just a few things I want to mention with what I’ve been seeing in the leak:
- Slife of Life: In the animatic, the scene where Doctor Whooves tries to talk to Vinyl Scratch but she is listening too loudly to music? The animatic’s placeholder music is “Turn Down for What”. Just found that interesting to take note of.
- Testing Testing 1-2~~3: The individual audio tracks of Pinkie Pie’s Wonderbolts Rap are in there, from the background beats to Pinkie Pie to even each individual background singer. In addition to that, there are finished scenes of the Wonderbolts Rap music video segment that haven’t been put through the VHS filters yet. It’d be cool to see someone render these scenes out and attach the unedited audio so that we could see an “HD” version of the Wonderbolts Rap. Just saying.
~~ Has anyone heard of the earliest rendition of the MLP:FiM theme? It’s somewhere deep in some folder but it is about a minute and a half long and stylistically is closer to the original 1980s theme and is sung by Amy Keating Rogers when she worked alongside Lauren Faust early on. I actually quite like it and I would love to see someone create an instrumental version and get someone to sing along to it. I find it especially poignant with the last few verses considering the end of the G4 television series came about just about last month, and the acapella singing rendition by Amy Rogers herself was like…very sweet and kind of melonchaly to listen to. Kind of like looking far back from where we have come this long ways away.
