I like to think G5 takes place in the late 50s or early 60s. At least Maretime Bay the others are more primitive or modern. And Sunny is like one of those activist students from that era.

I found this interesting video by Shunks detailing the history of G5 leaks from 2017 to 2021.
 
It’s an interesting watch and just shows how many changes Hasbro went through.
 
I kind of hope they implement some of these worlds, anthro characters and so on into G5. I love the worlds like that Rainbow lake one.

I mainly remember the mane 6 redesign from g4 to g5, plus a leak where each race would have their own planet with a 4th hub planet where all 3 of the pony races can hang out in, which would’ve been cool if that was confirmed, and it be like how there are 9 realms in Norse mythology.
