I’m not saying there’s a romance going on, I’m saying that all the fuel they get cannot be a coincidence (out of universe). And I agree, they’re best friends and nothing more, as long as what has been shown, but the fuel is there.
 
The very definition of shipping fuel states that if you ship it, you see it, if you don’t ship it, you don’t see it, but that doesn’t mean that the fuel is not there.

From EQG perspective, I hope they don’t even make any reference to said crush, since it would be hinting at a bestial relationship.

not at all, I don’t ship him as he is. I’d like to see him with Ember whenever he grows into an adult.
 
What I don’t like is the Sparity ship, since it’s so one sided canonwise. But that’s just an opinion, so no biggie if other people ship them.

I’m glad nobody says that having a crush on someone isn’t a bad thing, because it’s not.

From a Rarity shipping perspective yes, she complements Rarity and they have common ground in the most important things (love to their families, friends, hard workers). At the same time, she is a very nice check to Rarity when she goes overboard, and won’t hesitate to put her a stop.

I honestly prefer Applejack with Twilight, even if the writers are biased towards Rarijack rather than other ships that they don’t do anything with other pairs.
 
And I rather accept that people will always treat Applejack as the Chad because of Rarijack.
 
Even if I hate the ship, I can’t change the writer’s decisions and I have to resort to invisible, imaginary, read only fanfiction. Because it’s more healthy than insulting a writer for a ship.

I ship Spike with Sweetie Belle.

AJ with Twi is great, through the first two seasons I thought they were pushing a Captain/First Mate kind of relationship with them. AJ seemed to be Twilight’s closest friend (besides Spike), but then it stopped… and I prefer to go with the flow and how the show progresses rather than keeping my first impressions. The same happened to me with CheeriMac, shipped them all along since season 2, then completely shifted to SugarMac on season 7.

Button and Archer. Archer was once seen at an arcade game, so they could bond over a shared love of games.
