I just want an episode featuring Princess Celestia as the focus. Maybe one where we get to see how rough she’s had it over the years… ruling alone, the constant nightly reminder that she had to banish her only sister, a thousand lifetimes of ponies who have come and gone while she remained… all of that.

Anyway, about the Eight Enchanted Items: because the Staff of Sameness wasn’t actually one of them, there’s now eight items for all eight main characters. S6 arc?

I doubt they’d have an item for Spike, only for each of the ponies. Plus, we don’t know if you-know-who is gonna be a main character or if she’s gonna be a secondary character like Discord.

I disagree. Celestia has tons of untapped potential. I mean, sole ruler of Equestria for a thousand years? The power to move the moon and sun? Mentor and teacher of gifted unicorns? Connoisseur of cake? There are endless possible stories she could be a part of.

Said potential keeps completely getting wasted as we get half assed attempts at trying to portray her as a good ruler and said attempts keep me constantly questioning on why she’s still a ruler in the first place. They have been failing constantly since season 3 began. It says alot when shit like Princess Spike get greenlighted yet no Celestia episode hasn’t ever been yet. At this point she might as well be a plot device. She barely even has a role.

If we can get a griffon kingdom episode [one that’s been talked about since Gilda first appeared], Shining Armor and Cadance becoming expectant parents [something anticipated since the end of season two], and an episode where Twilight rekindles some neglected past friendships [addressing a loose end from the pilot]; then I imagine a Celestia episode shouldn’t be that unlikely.

Apparently, the crew’s been trying to pitch potential Celestia episodes to Hasbro since all the way back in season 1, but their ideas keep getting rejected. Even Jim Miller has stated that he’d LOVE to see a Celestia episode.

Season 6 Premiere/Finale villain: Male alicorn. Celestia and Luna’s father whom they overthrew long long loooooooooong ago. Sorta like the Kronos to Celestia’s Zeus and Luna’s Hades/Poseidon.
 
Btw, did you know that Zeus imprisoned Kronos in Tartarus?  
And Equestrian Tartarus has seen a couple of prison breaks so far…

But then again; Chrysalis was blasted off to the horizon, Sombra exploded, and Tirek was locked back up in Tartarus…so maybe they’ll throw us for a loop [NMM=Reformed Discord=Reformed Chrysalis=NR Sombra=NR Sunset=Reformed Tirek=NR Dazzlings=NR Starlight=Reformed…either the next two will be reformed or the next two will not be reformed. no clear pattern]

If spike does outlive his friends they could do a episode where they travel into the future so they can see adult spike and what he going to be in life.
