Honestly you could just modify Griffonstone and have the ideal friendship map story for any species. As for Garble being redeemed, it would be a great way to teach the “Sometimes people who hurt you don’t realize the impact they had on you and forget” lesson. Just have him being embarrassed that he was such a dick and have Spike unwilling to accept it until he realizes that people act stupid when they’re that age.
 
Hell, maybe it could go hand in hand with him growing up and acting badly towards others because dragon hormones and realizing that growing up is hard.

Pony genetics are already a mess, mix them with magic and dragons and batponies (the only ponies confirmed to live with dragons) and it gets worse.

If it were chariot racing, certainly, but I think he’s more concerned about something more like kart racing, as in Mario Kart.

…A 3DS and/or Wii U game by WayForward would sure be nice. Especially since those are the only consoles that an MLP game would actually sell on, because you KNOW Microsoft and Sony would be idiots and reject it on account of being “kiddie” or “girly.”

…Eh, they’d probably never make one, since they added gratuitous cursing and sex jokes to Wonderful 101 because for some reason they absolutely refuse to ever let any of their games have anything below a T rating.
