Just because a character’s main goal is finished, doesn’t mean they should be rid of his/her personality and quirks.

It doesn’t sound that bad ( _{episode 14’s synopsis sounds worse, in fact} ) - but these synopses might not even be real. didn’t we have a bunch of fake ones a few weeks ago?
 
Anyway, synopses hardly give you a accurate impression. the synopsis for this week’s episode made it sound like two-parter material and the one before it made it sound like a uninteresting episode, for example.

It’d have to be Princess Spike-level for the latter. and for me to go below 3, it’d have to be bad enough to the point of me not even bothering finishing it. Or to do certain things i know the show wouldn’t do.

Should point out Jim Miller said both those titles were inaccurate to what they will be called

Why does Pinkie need to find her life’s purpose? Doesn’t she already know what she wants to do with her life?

I expect Pinkie’s life purpose to be just as tacked on as Fluttershy’s shelter.

Actually, it might be worse, because they won’t be able to do anything with it, since it’s the last season.

I don’t think I’m gonna discover america, if I say that the writters generally seem to have no idea on where to go with pinkie’s story. I still want an episode where she helps Marble and Limestone find thier relationships.

Hey, with her previous episodes shitting all over her personality, I guess it’s only fair they go all in and sabotage that one thing she’s good at, huh? “Think she loved doing parties? Think again, MIDLIFE CRISIS TIMEEEEE!”

I would have loved a Cakes family episodw where Carrot Cake is dealing with a mid life crisis.

I’m not sure it was. Wind Sprint’s perspective was pretty important, and as a child I would certainly be able to emphasise with my father knowing bugger all about any of my interests and it making our relationship kinda awkward.

I tought it was more of a “guy trying to get accepted by his fiance’s daughter” kind of episode.

It was a lot of things. That’s what makes MLP so widely successful. I mean is Perfect Pear a commentary on William Shatner’s relationship with Jimmy Doohan and DeForest Kelley, along with the death of his wife? Certainly yes, but you can enjoy it perfectly fine without knowing anything about him.

To be honest, I couldn’t see Perfect Pear as more than another lazy Romeo And Juliet re-release. :/

Hopefully, the upcoming Pinkie episode will be good. The synopsis didn’t exactly give you high hopes for Student Counsel, and this might partially fall under that situation, right?
