I think you might be the BGP that is on those thread? Might not agree with you on some things, but your not being a dick about and you are a cool guy, so you’re good in my books.

IM surprised we haven’t got any humanisations of the new characters yet. Unless someone has doen them and I have missed them.

Going by the MLP human headcanons I posted yeaterday, what do you see some of the characters as, if they where human?

Before My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic started its first season, how many people associated the name “Twilight Sparkle” with an entirely different, vampire-related franchise?

Someone actually asked Lauren Faust about the name and whether it was intentional shortly after the show started. Her only response was, “It passed legal.”

That’s honestly hard to say… like I said, I typically think of them more in their pony colors than anything else. I suppose if I had to pick human specifics Rarity and Applejack were always ones I most associated the most with being Caucasian (Rarity because she literally is white on the show, and Applejack because something about the accent and country girl thing makes me think that pretty much automatically), but I often default the rest to the same thing as well.
 
Although fan art does change my mind at times. Like I mentioned the other day, that depiction of Rarity is pretty cool.

Pinkie Pie: Black skin, African-American  
Rainbow Dash: Tanned skin, Latino  
Fluttershy: Tanned skin, Latino and Middle Eastern  
Rarity: White skin, French  
Twilight: White skin, American  
Appleack: Black skin, African American

Latino Rainbow Dash seems like something that comes up a lot. I wonder if there’s a common reason for it.
 
Either way, a unique perspective on the characters.

Eh… Me personally, I can’t not see the characters looking similar to their voice actors/actresses, but that may be due to my watching too much Gargoyles. :P

I don’t know. I personally think that Latina Dashie seems really cute.
 
And as for Pinkie being black, I have two reasons for it. 1, because I think pink goes will with black, and 2, I saw some nice black pinkie art (including one my frined made)

|| Movie isn’t even out yet, and I’m already crazy about Tempest. I think I’m also going to be the first person to have the honour (or dishonour, depending on oyur stance on it) to have Canon x Oc art of her. ||

I remember this one image macro of the moment from Heart’s and Hooves Day where Cheerilee has that look on her face after the Crusaders ask her why she doesn’t have a special somepony, with the caption “That awkward moment, where your students sound like your mother.” I can’t seem to find it though.

Maybe we should make a collab map of Ponyville…

Random NSFW thought: For all the cloppers on this site, I can’t imagine actually doing the shmiggity with one of the ponies from the show. Maybe if she were in a more anthro form, but otherwise? Nah.

I’m starting to think PonyExpo is going to be DOA at this point.

Is it me or are a lot of Sunset fans getting really uptight about || Starlight being in the new special? Like, they are getting really annoying. ||

Well when you have your favorite characters get less time than for one you don’t like, especially if one of said characters only has a limited release during the year while the less liked character has more opportunities than any other character, it can be quite frustrating.
