Ticket - What is this? (Complaining)

I do not understand anything about this OC. What do people like about her? She’s an Alicorn OC, she has an ugly color scheme, as far as I can tell, NO characterization. There is literally nothing I find appealing about this character! Why is she so well-liked in this community?

She’s been around for a while (since Ponibooru, that’s for sure). I don’t think she’s any more than a forced meme (a meaningless one, to boot). That being said I sincerely doubt she’s “well-liked”; on the contrary, I believe most fans dislike her for one reason or another.

It’s mainly one guy requesting and commissioning most of the art for her if I remember right.

She started out as a innocent meme alicorn filly on Ponibooru, Got an mare form, a coltfriend, and eventually became something… O_O”

I thought she was from Ponychan or something…

I personally liked her because she reminds me of the time when the biggest annoyance on this fandom was someone spamming a random OC instead of one different shitstorm every week.

I remember Ticket on Ponychan. I was quite fine with the OC because I actually liked the golden color scheme… but then the shipping started.

That’s odd, since most discussions around Ticket seem to be in support of her. She’s nowhere as divisive as Nyx, her closest alicorn OC counterpart.

Nyx as a character is fine by me, I kind of like her. Not so much as a fan, but I can enjoy the content as it comes.

If I recall Ticket came into being when someone was streaming an episode and they went afk. While afk they had http://youtu.be/9qQ5TJOEr0s (not the exact video but that little 2sec clip) on a loop for about 2 min straight.
 
As for a personality. From the all the pics of her I have come to the conclusion that she is a happy-go-lucky and very naive alicorn.
