there is a distinct lack of genres such as Rock, Metal, Orchestral, Jazz, and classical whatever

Well you never actually post things. Just arguments. It’s like those 30 second ads you have to watch before a youtube video. Sure you hear the first couple of seconds, but then you just sort of zone out and only vaguely aware of the audio as you start clicking the “You can skip this in X seconds” link in vain.

They are nothing more than a cynical cash grab to try and monetize the fuck out of this fandom to the point of killing off competing communities. They are so incredibly restrictive in what they allow to be posted to their sites that using a Poniverse community is basically just subjecting yourself to North Korean rules. Clop artist? Saying so on a Poniverse site gets you in trouble. Debate? Killed off by moderators at every twist and turn. I got suspended for a week from a Poniverse site for disagreeing with someone about killing more characters off in the show.
 
Using a Poniverse site is what I would imagine being a Roman under Caligula’s rule would feel like.

I guess I can see that. I used to use MLPForums, and yeah, any sort of debate was stopped by moderators. Really took away the fun of using a forum.
 
If everyone always agreed, the world would be boring. There is nothing wrong with debating, yet it’s treated like poison by most people.

Judging from the recent poles on EqD. 5,643 took to the POLL. 40.94% who took the POLL are alright with saucy art. 26.24% LOVE saucy art.  
I think this is an indication the fandom still has a voracious taste for clop or semi-clop art.

I guess I’ll take your word for it that it’s at least something that gets up on your last nerve– MLPF does have a reputation for CONFORM OR PERISH, after all– but I still don’t think all that other garbage is reason enough to bathwater the baby for a simple list of streaming radio stations. I’ve never seen any of that creep into the station list, it’s… just a station list. Luna Radio in particular makes great background music for doing something else online.

Bear in mind that actual hardcore porn wasn’t even on the list, on account of EqD is for the most part _{~FAMILY FRIENDLY}~; I’m pretty sure the results would look a lot different if the poll’s parameters were expanded. Derpi is ~20% porn, which is– shockingly– higher than the internet in general, but a lot lower than it is for some fandoms.

Well it’s seems pretty standard when it comes to the Brony fandom. I’m not surprised such a low number despises them even for EQD alone.

Even though most Brony sites try to keep a standard of not allowing clop to be post and or restrict the good content. Consumption is high in this fandom. Seriously, this has to be one of the most openminded fanbases I’ve seen out there in regards to r34.
