The whole Spike and Rarity crush should have ended all the way back in S4 at the latest since that’s all it was, a boyhood crush. The fact that they took it more set and kept dragging it and milking it all the way to the end was really dumb

To be fair, in at least one of the two cases it could have been any race. And, I dunno, maybe all of Urohringr or Hippotheria or whatever you want to call it has its magic in some version of the Khala or something like that.

It’s not just unifying, it’s the fact that ponies seem to largely control the ecosystem in which they live, most obviously controlling the cycle of night and day. Although I think this belongs more to a headcanon/conspiracy theory.
