Why don't The Princes get any love?

It seems that Shining Armour and Prince Blueblood Don’t get as much as love as any of the Princesses get. Hell Even the Four main villains are more loved than the princes. why is that?

Cuz Shining Armor doesn’t really have a character dynamic past “cool big brother”, and Blueblood…is Blueblood, he’s only useful as someone for Rarity to abuse.

Shining is boring besides being Twilight’s big brother, with a surfer voice.  
Blueblood is well he is Blueblood. We only had two appearances of him I would like to see him more.

I like Blueblood. Even though Shining Armor isn’t much of a character I still like him.

I digress, so to answer your question OP: It’s probably because of the fact that the show focuses mainly on female characters, which means that the audience will focus on them them too (YMMV)

In a show for little girls, male enemies are appropriate. Male annoyances, male authorities, even male background characters. But male allies (like Spike) are more difficult, particularly in a show with an ensemble cast like this. The writers probably struggle to balance just the Mane Six, adding balanced supporting characters is harder.

Because girls want to pretty Princess Mary sues.

I’d like Shining Armor if he didn’t had that “suspicious” voice, also i thought he would be a badass, he’s an incompetent  
Blueblood has an interesting personality though, he gave me a couple of laughs.

Male characters in this show, in general, lack characterization. They’re stereotypical males.  
Though, Shining Armor, in most of the episodes he appeared in, was the helpless one.

No Actually I meant in fanarts not the show itself. SA And BB dont get as much as attention as the princesses. even Sombra is already catching up to SA and SA has been around 6-8 Month more than sombra did

It’s not like Princess Cadence has all that much of love, i said before and i’ll it say again, her number of pics is pathetic compared to the other princesses.

So many shows have valiant princes and dashing male leads, this show is probably one of the only decent modern cartoons that actually have princesses doing stuff.

Its not about gender. Discord is more popular than them and With Sombras fanbase growing rate he will surpass SA by the time S4 Comes. I am just saying that Compared to the other royaltys (Princesses, Queen Chrissy, King Sombra, Or even Discord) They don’t get that much love. Infact most of the attention SA gets is about him being twilights brother or cadences husband while nopony cares that hes the royal Captain. And Prince Blueblood most of the time is used for shipping.

If this were any other show I would like to see more of them.
 
But I would rather the writers make the show for the target audience, and girls like watching girls.
 
I’m not saying that it would be impossible, but it’s low on the list of priorities imo.

Queen Chrysalis gets a lot. And I’d expect Shining Armor to focus on his relationships with his sister or wife, that’s really all we know about him.
 
As for Blueblood, well, he hasn’t exactly got the best reputation…

I think Chrysalis get much love simply because she looks cool and is a cool concept for a species. Plus, people like villains.
 
While Shining Armor looks like good looking stallion who was just pulled out of nowhere and had a near perfect life.
 
Blueblood, we have yet to see more of him, he barely made any appearance.

Shining Armor is okay IMO, not my favorite male character but he’s pretty good.
 
I’m also one of the few bronies that doesn’t hate Blueblood.
