Gerlad: The alliance my people were formerly a part of had non-magical energy shields as standard equipment for several races in it’s fold. Miniaturized to the point it was fully integrated in to the armor.

Gerald: Not in it’s ideal form, but we do manufacture belt mounted versions when more subtle protection is needed.
