They entered the throne room, and Texty’s ears perked up. “Oh, hello every-”

He let out a yelp as his horn flashed and he ‘saw’ Meetra Surik. “W-wha… What is that?”

“My name is Meetra Surik.” Meetra replied, confused by this reaction.

“N-no, not what are you, but… I can feel… Coldness. And… Resentment, just under the surface. And under that…” Texty said.

“I can explain later.” Meetra brushed off. Damn, an empath. “Just know that I don’t want to hurt anyone.”

“She’s a good person, Texty.” Plant Man said.

Texty didn’t seem convinced.

She pulled out something golden, though clearly scuffed up and dented in a few places, and its gem was coated in dust. But, it was unmistakable.

Meetra blinked away a bad memory. “Yes, I have used dangerous weapons before, one far worse than this object I found near the bottom of a chasm. With this, I can gain the loyalty of the Traditionalist faction within Griffonstone. And that is why I am here; To gain the approval of Your Highness Princess Twilight Sparkle, in order to earn the loyalty of the Reformist faction. With both factions under my sway, I can reform the Griffon Kingdom into a new, properly functioning state.”

We’re in the clear for now and-…” I stopped my sentence when I noticed the newcomer “Uuuh, who’s the Griffon?” I noticed the object on the table “And why did they bring a trophy into the room?”

“I do not know how comfortable I am with the title of Queen, but I can work with that as I reform their government. I do not intend to rule by lineage.” Meetra said before noticing the new arrival. “I’ll let Twilight re-explain the situation for you.”

“If not Queen, then what?” Texty asked.

“We will get to that.” Meetra replied.

Gerald noticed Bubbles and Matias coming in and informing them of an update involving Nod

Gerald: “I’m assuming that’s the group Whistler hired. If the Brotherhood aren’t in Ponyville, where the heck could they be right now? The old castle’s a no go since Crimson already informed us of a new unidentified arrival to Equestria that was engaging Nod forces. Must’ve gone underground, I guess?”

Shelly watched Matias galloped out the room. She was then informed by Bubbles why they had to go for the time being. After she zipped out the room, the Changeling spy now Inkpony approached her and spoke in her language
