The various parent tags implying [hippogriff](/tags/hippogriff) is very questionable to me. The parents of these are typically one pony and one griffon, which assumes that the offspring of these characters *must* be drawn as something that could be described as a hippogriff. Most, if not all, of those tags have non-hippogriff offspring in them. Not to mention that the site doesn't add species implications to character and shipping tags due to species swaps.
