I have no idea what that tag is even supposed to be for, but I’m fine to nuke it.

What is the most efficient combination of tags to search for to get images of just Twilight Sparkle’s horn, wings, and cutie mark?
 
Twilight Sparkle && horn && transparent background returns around 600 results, for example and approximately five (possibly more, as I did not review all pages of results) of them are what I want. I need to decorate an IRL horse for the 10 ^th anniversary contest.

Not sure about that specific thing as I’m not finding a whole lot of what I think you are looking for, but using a broader search plus negation of bigger tags you know you don’t want could help you narrow it down. So -anthro, -eqg, -human, -screencap, -explicit, and maybe even some random tags like -cute. I think it’s likely you’re going to have to find them separately but this could greatly narrow it down.
 
Some other tags to consider searching with: no pony, cutie mark only, vector, and simple background (not as easy to work with as transparent but you might find something more in there).

As the Tag Guidelines specify, the safe tag “cannot be with any other ratings”. If a picture is semi-grimdark, by definition it’s not safe. (But how do you signify that the pic lacks any sexual content? Well, the lack of suggestive, questionable, or explicit tags implies that.)

Safe is mutually exclusive with all other ratings tags.
 
That being said, it’s not dark enough to fit in semi-grimdark, so it’s still safe (and an admin already re-rated it a month ago).

Twilight Sparkle && no pony got me her cutie mark on the first page and multiple variations on each page thereafter, so I’m well-supplied in that department. For her wings and horn, it looks like my best option is to lift them off >>2417079—folded wings AND no pony returns no results and horn && no pony does not return anything I’m looking for. Thanks for the no pony tip.

That makes as much sense as “wet and dry”.

I find it ridiculous how, instead of removing/replacing the Neon Lights character tag, some people simply remove the tag Rising Star.

Do we really need blackwashing as a tag?
 
There is never a set “way” for this tag to be used, and everytime it gets used, it’s always seems to be because the person who added it is upset that someone decided to give one of the characters dark skin.

Support. “Skin color edit” already exists, and none of the canon characters have a canonical human skin tone. If a separate tag for edits that give a character light skin is really needed, it should be called something without the political babbage, such as “light skin edit”.

Agreed. Tho I feel like the normal skin color tags are good enough personally.

Both blackwashing and whitewashing have been murdered. I aliased them both into dark skin and light skin respectively, de-aliased them, and then destroyed them. They should not be recreated for any reason.
