If there was a page here where you entered two character names in text boxes with autocomplete suggestions from the list of all character names and it showed you a link to the existing ship name (if one exists) would it be a thing people would find useful?

I think that would make things a lot easier actually :)

That’s a lot of work for something not needed.

I just do that by searching for [name], [name], shipping and it’s always in the alt text for the image results.

text needs a ton of cleanup, if it’s truly supposed to be for images that are predominantly text with little else of interest in them.

So, the tag erotic bowling pin meme is something I made up off the top of my head as I uploaded the first two pictures to feature it. I didn’t think to look if there was a preexisting name for the meme until after—turns out KnowYourMeme refers to the larger trend as NSFW Bowling Animations. But by this point, two other artists have also tagged their meme pictures with “erotic bowling pin meme”.

Should I change the tag or just leave it as-is?

How necessary are the tags male and female really? I see those tags on nearly every post, but 95% of the time the characters being male or female seems like one of the least important details.

It’s useful for tag search. Not more, not less.

This. Many also make use of them through watch lists and filters.

They’re missed often enough as is, please tag them when appropriate.

IMO: for suggestive, questionable, or explicit-rated pictures, they are extremely important. For safe, they are a convenience.

Looking through the tag changes, it looks like the name of a community/repost group, so it was getting mistakenly filled in or assumed to be a creator when it wasn’t ever.

Does G5 version of Posey need a separate tag?

Hey question.
On a lot of TYT images, I see the “calarts” tag. I think that gets added somewhat derisively by some people, but is that something that should be on there at all?
Or sometimes? Or what?

No, it should not be there, because yes, jerks are only adding it because they’re buttmad about the art style. The appropriate tags are things like bean mouth, which describe what’s actually in the image.

Don’t opinionate them all like, they may not know the right definition or are just following what they heard.

Regardless, yes the tag should probably not exist outside of images that directly have the word in them.

Is there a tag for a “twinkle” light effect coming from i.e. teeth like in my recent artwork?

We do have sparkling smile.

But they changed that and called her Posey Bloom. Isn’t she a different character? She has only one flower as cutie mark.
