Just to be clear about “horses are not ponies”, that means the below image should be tagged “horse” and NOT “pony”, correct? However, it DOES still earn the tags for earth pony, pegasus, and unicorn.

I have seen plenty of people whom ONLY tag things likesexyand super niche specific personal tags and never tag anything normal and practical.
We have a group of users here who I call “butt posters”.
When they upload something, they tag the characters (not always), and then they add

If you are referring to the OP on derpi uploading the images, yeah they should have uploaded the original descriptions then their own words, but I don’t think the meme is “forced” if multiple people are willingly contributing towards the meme/helped create the meme instead of it all just being the result of one guy
(The instagram user behind the meme asked their followers fir ideas for names and that was the most popular result, and they themselves know that “Shitfuck” is not her actual name and is just a meme/joke)

I already posted about the pony in the Nameless BGP thread so people can give her an actual name instead of telling on just the meme name.
Imo I think the tag could stay up if its just referring to the meme about her, not on all pictures of her

While the poll results were a group effort, the “draw and tell everybody this is her real name” thing feels forced by the one guy on top. And I agree that having a tag of some form is a good idea, not only for filtering purposes (I have it hidden now), but also because it describes a meme (and forced memes have tags too).

Yeah that may be better. The closest I’ve seen to this in terms of OC tags are cases where AU versions of canon characters with different names have OC tags alongside their main character tags, but that’s not really the case here. Anything is better than tagging it plain “shitfuck” though as it originally was.
