General topic for character tag categorization

it seems like the tags Nightingale and Nightshade both imply the same pony (the female Shadowbolt with the light blue mane)
 
Should we merge Nightingale into Nightshade, since Nightshade has the most tags, or is this gonna be like a Bon Bon/Sweetie Drops case where both tags imply eachother?
 
Also I think a pic of her for her tag would help clear confusion over who she is

Regarding which character tag to proceed with on the Observer/September character has been brought up to an internal discussion Staff has been having about ways to shrink the amount of official character tags when applicable. This is a very good practical case to serve as exemple, once a decision is made we’ll update the situation here.

Characters with more than one tag specifying them is an on going discussion among staff, this case has been brought up and as soon as the decision is made and consented by every one involved we’ll finalize that process.

Best way to make a link is to look up the tag you want (then preferably clicking on it to go to the tag itself rather than the search, it’s no different in practice but the link syntax is cleaner) and copy the url in the bar at the top of your browser. The icons above the comment box (the ones including the options for bolding, italics, spoilers, etc.) include one that looks like two links in a chain. Highlight the word you want to make into a link, click on the icon, paste the url in the box and click “ok”.
 
Alternatively, you can write them like I have here – if you click “quote” beneath a comment, the comment’s text will be copied into the comment box, including the syntax.

Staff has been actively discussing a new standard for these cases of two character tags for the same character.
 
The final consensus/decision should become our policy on handling not only this case you’ve brought up but all the possible others speeding up the process. Just be a bit more patient with us~

All tags have been updated with the exception of Ice Mirror, like the issue discussed above we are looking into a way to eliminate secondary character tags for the same character, this will be an Alias or Merge+Nuke case, however the discussion still hasn’t been completed so we gotta wait on it.
