Neon Lights (character)

Neon Lights should be replaced with Neon Lights (character). Reason: People seem to not be aware it’s a character tag.

I also feel that it is an issue. It’s not as bad as I first thought a few minutes ago, but it still seems to get kinda ridiculous at times.

I’m pretty sure I’ve fallen for that myself, when tagging. Of course, after seeing how the tag ended up in the character section of the tag field, and clicking through to the tag description, I fixed it.
 
Anyway, I agree.

Looking again at uploads vs changes:  
It looks like Neon Lights currently has proper uploads at an average of 4 times a month, with mis-uses seeming to be at an average of six times a month. This extends back at least three months ago, maybe more.

Currently, neon is the proper tag for neon illumination, but since hardly anybody seems to know Neon Lights (despite the best efforts of people such as Jan or CrikeyDave and The Living Tombstone etc.), almost everyone keeps using neon lights for it.

I remember when I first saw the character, I thought he was someone else’s OC. I also didn’t know his name back then and I’ve only learned about who he is many years later, when I finally learned he actually appears in the show.
