[NSFW] Female on Male rimming

So I just noticed the existence of this tag, Analingus - female on male which perplexes me on many levels, for once, we don’t differentiate gay anal from straight anal, or futa anal, or straight vaginal from futa vaginal, not to mention the formatting doesn’t follow any other tags, so it seems rather out of place.
 
Thoughts on removing it, or refining it? (if option two is taken, I’d much rather a different name and/or definition)
 
This has nothing to do with disliking the subject manner, btw, female on male rimming is one of my favorite things ever, and while I would like to be able to look for it easier, I do not believe we should have a tag that assumes male on female is the norm, or that ignores that female on female or male on male, or any combination of futa, happens too, this isn’t like pegging either that had it’s own name or something. I’d prefer the tag go away entirely, as it would be a pain in the ass (literally) to define every instance of it, plus it wouldn’t be fair to all other variations of it.

It’s not exactly useless, seeing as simply searching analingus + straight will get you a mix of both female on male and male on female analingus. Same goes for straight anal, honestly. Gay/lesbian analingus wouldn’t require the tag at all anyway, seeing as that’s obviously going to be two males/females doing their thing and doesn’t require anything to differentiate it. I’d say if there is a tag, it could only apply to straight stuff. Everything else is easily found through the addition of other, currently existing tags.
 
As far a different definition goes, maybe you could broaden the scope of the search. For example, do we have any tags that define if it’s females or males doing sexual stuff? Straight as a tag only goes so far, seeing as two characters just having vaginal sex could be seen as either character doing the fucking. I know there’s stuff like pegging, handjob, and fingering that are already rather gender specific, but a new tag could help out in cases like this if you cared to have it.
 
Something like female on top, or male on top perhaps? Those aren’t very good suggestions, but hopefully someone could come up with something better.

My main issue with it is that it assumes male on female rimming is the default and more common (and it is indeed more common, but that’s not the point) one, which I don’t enjoy, as it reads as if the latter is a niche compared to the first. I’d be happy if both versions had a specific named tag, if only for fairness and just in case I wanna syntax out all of the male on female for searches.
 
I just hate it when tags assume one thing is a norm and another thing/reversed is a niche. (like how there’s a male feet tag but no female feet tag, or how there’s POV that assumes the viewer is male, and female POV being separate)

I think you’ve made the wrong assumption, there. People aren’t trying to search for it, they’re trying to filter it out. Never underestimate people’s desire to never ever see a male doing anything sexual, especially if it’s to another guy. Those sorts of male-specific tags have been popping up for years. solo male appeared before solo female, males only before females only… the list goes on.

Anyway, back on topic. For sex acts performed by a female to a male (or vice versa), female on male or male on female might be tags to look into. That is, if they weren’t already aliased into straight. I have a feeling this tag discussion was decided years ago.
 
For this specific topic, female tonguing vs male tonguing maybe?

I’m just for aliasing to something like female rimming male or female on male rimming or something so it doesn’t contrast so weirdly with the other tags, and then just making the other tags (male on male, male on female, etc.)
 
It shouldn’t be removed though. It is a useful tag.

Well ‘female on male’ was restores, so rimming, female on male is now plausible.

Might be a good trade off, assuming people tag it more. Once it catches on more (female on male that is) I’ll help tag it on images, I’d do it now but I’m honestly not sure of it’s explicit meaning yet, someone give me one so I can add one and then tag it more. :P

Also completely separate from BDSM or other power dynamics. Femdom isn’t necessarily female on male and so on.

I renamed this tag to work better, and I tagged all instances of it with female on male and I feel it would be better for everyone watching/filtering it/tagging it to instead swap to female on male, analingus.
 
Edit: I only didn’t kill the tag so I don’t get an angry mob after me, but I do really feel everyone should switch instead of using it..
