"smiley face" needs a massive cleanup, or give up and alias to "smiling"

A smiley face is an ideogram, a simplistic illustration, not anyone’s actual face ^*.
 
These have smiley faces:

These don’t have smiley faces:

So, smiley face needs a definition and major cleanup, or aliasing to smiling if it seems like a lost cause.

I removed the tag from the images where it didn’t apply, which was about 90% of the images under the tag. It seemed like using “smiley face” in place of “smiling” is mostly a recent trend, so with the tag now having fewer images, hopefully people forget about it.
