The protagonists on my watchlist are Littlepip, Blackjack, Puppysmiles, Hired Gun, Atom Smasher, and Bullet Holes. (I assume Greaser, Strawberry Lemonade, Steel Cherry and so on. The only reason I don’t watch my own OC Sassy Lost is because she doesn’t exist as a tag yet) So, no sex (at least not in front of the five-year-old) then.
 
I’m thinking they get enlisted by elite dimensional travellers who give them all (even Puppy) 20 cybernetic implants. Namely three Comms Utility (All in head), seven Life Support Utility (1 in head, each leg, each arm, chest, abdomen), nine Functional Utility (1 in head, each leg, chest, abdomen; 2 in each arm), and of course, the Spinal Implant: One Spinal Implant to rule them all, One Spinal Implant to find them, One Spinal Implant to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. And Puppy gets unbound from her suit in a ritual involving the Poltergust 9001, the Ghost Portrificationizer, frog switches, the darklight, and Komachi, and is given a partial physical body made from geneless stem cells attached to her heart that allows her to grow up. Though it comes with the unfortunate side effect of giving her an energy cycle that causes her ghostly energy to change to a different state every 4096 heartbeats (which would roughly be once every 30 minutes), which is uncomfortable for her and initially quite terrifying. Also, in this universe she has synesthesia where her magic sense is felt as changes in temperature. Also, on that note, Littlepip has Chromesthesia, Blackjack has Spatial sequence synesthesia, Hired Gun has Mirror-touch synesthesia, Sassy Lost has pain-color synesthesia (Funny since she’s a raider) and Slug has Spatio-temporal synesthesia (In other news, Sweetie Belle has Lexical-gustatory synesthesia, and Lisa Simpson, the ship’s captain (don’t ask), has smell-color synesthesia (Which is actually technically semi-canon)). Then they later visit an AU where the characters are anthro and Gin Rummy and Puppysmiles* never died. No, seriously, I want to make this a thing, who’s with me?
 
Yes, unlike the others, Sassy Lost actually has synesthesia in her canon.
 
Also, off the current topic, but >>112401 is both adorable and a neat reference for Sassy’s size, she’s as big compared to Hired Gun as Hired Gun is compared to Blackjack. Which is probably big enough to have trouble with at least the smaller doors.  

 
*She did die the first time, just not the second.

Ambiguity is good for asking the reader to interpret a situation but it also makes the reader unsure. Personally I feel that Velvet is in the right mostly because she wants the gradualness of introducing a once dangerous race into the public again. I feel that Fluttershy is blind-sided by the fact that she can’t see that Velvet is on her side because of her equality. So basically Fluttershy is arguing with Velvet over something they both agree on. Fluttershy wants the now but she doesn’t see that there is massive consequences. Velvet wants the public to accept the hellhounds and will do so whenever they’re ready.
 
Now let me ask you something, is Velvet herself holding back the changes even if the ponies agree?

Also, Babs Seed is now a major character in Subterranean Pacifism. The only surviving Manehattanite (AFAIK), and a secretive ghoul. I’ll try not to spoil anything more.

I have a story that I haven’t touched in writing in a quite a bit, but I’m sure it’s the same basis. However, I’m not sure how much potential traveling it has. I’m sure it’s quite a bit.

Actually I just realised that all my current stories are more or less improv, the only one I have the full outline for is Torn Like Cotton.
 
On another note, I really want to make a Puppysmiles model, and I could probably cobble together a quick and dirty start my simply editing Apple Bloom’s textures. Though I get the feeling Puppy’s mane would be kind of like Pinkie’s, where it straightens out when she’s upset.

The Puppysmiles model? If I recompiled Apple Bloom but changed the Materials folder (somehow, I have no idea how to do any of that stuff) then I could crank up a simple retexture in maybe an hour or so. But we’d still need the suit…

If anything, I kinda portray them both in the wrong, especially as public figures. Fluttershy’s methods are ineffective, and ultimately convince many people within the NCR that democracy is false and broken. This is one of the many events behind an coup attempt to put a Princess back on the throne.
 
Velvet on the other hand is really effective, as I said becoming incredibly powerful and producing great positive change… through control of the media, backstage dealings, subtle manipulation and never letting any of her decisions be put towards a popular vote if she can help it. The Arbiter of the NCR actually points out that she’s used her political contacts to make the Followers of the Apocalypse far more powerful than the actual federal government, and though she does good things with this power…
 
…one of the story’s big coup attempts has it’s ultimate aim as putting Velvet on the throne as Princess, on the basis that she would be good at it and was basically as powerful as Celestia anyway. Not to mention she inspired both them and many others to attempt social change through somewhat dishonest manipulation of the political system, as she had proven how it was really the only way to achieve results.
 
I kinda based Velvet on a far more benign version of J. Edgar Hoover mixed with Thomas Jefferson, and Fluttershy on Thaddeus Stevens.

So we’re dealing with a political system conflict here? Princesshood versus democracy?

I intended the story to be a tale of nation building in general, how, after everything that has happened, you build a better world than the one before.
 
Obviously, not everyone agrees about how quite that should be done. The terrible thing is that almost everyone in the story believes themselves to be well intentioned, save those who have lost themselves to nihilism.
 
Following from the Fallout Tradition of strong influences from US history, I based a lot of events on the War of 1812 and the Era of Good Feelings, along with the general plot of Fallout New Vegas.

Why that war and time do you choose from that, unless… you’re going for an influence of the child years of the US?

Pretty much. I was inspired by a trip to Baltimore. Plus I do like that period of American history.
 
The political system is a little more British admittedly, since that’s what I’m used to.

I’ve always wondered how nation building would go in Equestria. Especially if it was previously a princess-led government, how would the remnants of Equestria create a nation in which reflects on the past mistakes of old and makes sure it doesn’t happen again. However, war, war never changes though.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. Most of the fic is your standard fallout adventuring, but I do love writing the political stuff in the background.
 
It’s mentioned that most of the NCR’s political system is griffon inspired actually, though most ponies are very happy with it too.

I do feel politics is a good thing in something like the Fallout world (and Fallout: Equestria), it’s certainly seeps of an old world feel of things that can and will go wrong.
 
Also, what is appealing to the ponies for a griffon inspired system?
