Keeping Characters in Character

For quite some time, I’ve been riddled with anxiety-induced writer’s block…namely because I’m unsure how to properly write dialogue for the Mane Six without making them OOC or turning them into static stereotypes (i.e. Fluttershy being nervous all the time, Pinkie acting random, etc.)… any advice?

just go for it! once you do a rough draft and read it over, you’ll be able to fix things up in a way that seems to fit the characters’ personalities in the actual show. it might seem hard, but i really isn’t, i promise! c:
