Huge EQG Applejack Fan
(At the farm from “Friendship Through the Ages”)
Applejack: (sits on the fence (just like from the music video), plays her acoustic guitar, then turns to look at you) Well, we just lost Sunset Shimmer a couple of days ago. She’s been murdered by some varmint just fer terrorizin’ Canterlot High. Sure she did that, but it’s definitely uncalled for ‘cuz she’s already changed ever since the Fall Formal. Yeah, we might tend ta overreact ta certain thangs some time ‘er another, but this one here got overboard, big time. (stops playing) That killer who just killed ‘er should face some serious consequences. (pauses and wipes some tears that are running from her eyes) Sorry ‘bout that. Just some grief goin’ on.
(the birds chirp in the background)
Applejack: I’ve been asked by several questioners about Sunset’s death. Fer example: “Why else was Sunset killed unexpectedly besides terrorizin’ Canterlot High?”, “Who was the killer?”, “After Sunset’s death, how did she resurrect from the casket and transform into the Phoenix Angel?”. The last one is a good question ta figure out, ‘cuz I dunno how this kind of magic works; but I only know that it happened. (gets off the fence with her guitar still in her hand) Like I said, she died a couple of days ago. But b’fore that happened, she was just walkin’ around the street headin’ towards that fashion boutique ta ask Rarity ta help ‘er with somethin’.
(flashback begins to take place to a couple of days earlier at Rarity’s boutique)
Sunset: Rarity, I need your help with something.
Rarity: Of course, darling! What is it?
Sunset: Well, you see, I–
(There’s a knock on the door, and Rarity answers it)
???: I need a talk with Sunset Shimmer.
Rarity: What are you going to talk to her about?
???: That’s only between me and her. Nobody else.
Sunset: (approaches to ???) Let’s just hope that it’s not really bad.
(flashback returns to a couple of days later at the farm)
Applejack: This was the suspicious moment. It was so suspicious that some of us didn’t trust ‘em. I still don’t. Anyways, Sunset and that person went to a place where absolutely nobody were there except them. I dunno what they were talkin’ about, so I’ll skip that part. After the conversation, Sunset’s cry fer help was heard. Unfortunately, no one was there ta help ‘er.
(flashback returns to a couple of days earlier at the private place)
Sunset: (is scared stiff) Why are you doing this to me?!?
???: (grabs her chest from behind and draws her back to their chest, draws out a jumbo pocketknife and aims the sharp point of it at her chest) Because you terrorized Canterlot High by turning people into your slaves with your dark demonic magic as a she-demon after you’ve got the princess’s crown! Why did you want that crown so bad in the first place?!?
Sunset: (her body is shaking with fear) I-I-I wanted to possess the magic inside of Twilight’s crown a-a-and I used it selfishly! I was only jealous with her to begin with because she became a princess instead of me! I’ve already apologized to everyone I saw and they seemed to forgive me, especially my new friends! Will you please let go of me now?
???: (squeezes her very tightly) No! You still have some consequences you’ll have to face!
Sunset: (starts to cry) I’ve already changed! I don’t need to experience this!
???: Oh I’m afraid you do, my dear. As a supreme punishment for your evildoings, you will die and suffer into the environment of eternal fire.
Sunset: Wh-Wh-What…? Uuhh…?
???: Okay, enough talk! Now it’s time for you to die! (strikes Sunset’s chest with their pocketknife)
Sunset: AAAAHHHH!!!! (collapse to the ground when being released and dies)
(Sunset’s chest starts to bleed rapidly and the blood spreads out instantly)
Applejack’s Disembodied Voice: Yep. That’s how she got murdered by that darn creep.
(flashback returns to a couple of days later at the farm)
Applejack: Now, her funeral’s in about a week ‘er so. I’ve been asked by Principal Celestia ta p’form a g’bye song fer Sunset. (places her guitar strap over her hat and her head on her left shoulder) I gladly agreed ta do that ‘cuz she’s special to us. (begins to play her acoustic guitar and then begins to sing)

Our dear friend’s body is laid down ta rest.
When she’s gone up to the sky, where it’s now her new home,
In a new paradise, on the clouds that she will roam._🎶
(A week later at Sunset’s funeral, Applejack still sings while she still plays her acoustic guitar)

We know that it’s endless and some great things we’ve gone through.

Applebloom: (notices that Sunset’s body is mysteriously gone) Um…Sunset’s body’s missin’. I didn’t even take ‘er out.

(Rarity faints)
Fluttershy: Oh..m..my…
(the six girls, the Apple family and the other guests talk about this)
(the beams of sunlight appear through the windows)
Pinkie: Sunlight!
Rainbow: We have to check this out!
(all of them run outside and see Sunset as the Phoenix Angel before their very eyes)
Sunset: Don’t worry, I’m resurrected spiritually.
Pinkie: How come your body isn’t in the casket?
Sunset: Because I’m originally a unicorn pony from Equestria. Also, I have a phoenix inside of me.
Rainbow: No wonder why you have some fire wings!
Sunset: (giggles) Anyway, I have to fly up to the clouds. If you need anything, just say my name while you pray and I’ll be there as soon as I can. Farewell. (flies up to the clouds)
Applejack: (looks up and smiles at her) We sure will, sugarcube.
