Cartoon/Western Animation General

Ya, same here.  
Any time I would say “foreign animation” it would be me talking about all animation outside of set area, and I make it clear by saying somthing to identify what is local in that case.  
I could be talking of French shows and then refer to shows from the rest of the world as foreign, because in the case of stuff from France all others would be foreign.
 
Oh and if anyone brings up this thread being for “Western animation” that covers a lot of areas of the world but not all, anime is not just what all other animation is if not Western.  
Hell I never head anyone call Russian animation anime, and it’s not actully Western animation.

Colloquialisms can be frustrating, especially when you get the real nitty gritty of it.  
It ultimately boils down to what @PonyPon said, essentially being a popularity contest of classifications. Hell Chinese animation sometimes fill both roles, as either “Chinese anime” or “Chinese cartoon”.

Huh, so just randomly I thought of a show I used to watch when I was a kid, and looked up the intro and stuff.  
I never knew there was a toy line for Centurions: Power Xtreme.  
But then again it was reruns I saw when I was little as it aired when I was a baby, so the toys wouldn;t of been around any more.
 
 
Makes sense, the stuff in the show was very toyetic.

John Musker is retiring. It’s a shame he worked on so many Disney movies and yet his passion project, Treasure Planet, was arguably Disney’s biggest mistake.

Disney should just release Song of the South already, maybe on a small-scale DVD/Blu-ray release if they don’t want to attract a lot of attention. Honestly, due to the movie’s infamy, continuing to deny its existence like they’re doing is probably the worst move they could make.

I’m already caught up to Episode 5. So far my favorite episode has to be Episode 4.

I watched episode 4 on tv last night and the flashbacks were sad but the action was amazing and it got intense and i loved it  
i cant wait for episode 5

Gravity Falls is as close to a perfect cartoon as I’ve ever seen.

It’s an OK cartoon to me.

I’m honestly looking foreward to craig of the creek. I love cartoons about kids being kids and going on big adventures.  
I still have no idea what to feel about apple and onion though.
