Stan talks to the Pines parents on the phone in the finale of season 1. And since you’re not too concerned with spoilers, they’re never said to have died after that.
I spoiled the same thing for myself and didn’t care because I thought I wouldn’t watch the show anyways. I watched the show a few months later and each time the author was mentioned I thought “I wonder how it would feel not to know the answer to this?”
@lasty
I’m sure that there’s a reasonable explanation for this…
Some things I hated when I accidentally spoiled myself, like reading reactions on the RWBY Volume 3 Finale; I accidentally found out ahead of time that a major character dies in a pretty horrible way.
@YetAnotherBrony
I accidentally spoiled myself on two different character deaths. Just googling one of the characters names gives you the suggestion: “RWBY [character] death”. that just ain’t fair.
Okay, just finished “The Legend Of The Gobblewonker”. I have to hand it to Dipper for being genre-savvy enouogh to buy a ton of disposable cameras. Too bad Mabel and Soos were stupid enough to literally throw the cameras around like softballs. Well, he still got his picture in the end…well, if it wasn’t for the fact that the lake monster was actually a robot.
Also, sick burn from Soos.
Old Man McGucket: You just don’t know the lengths us old-timers go through just for some quality time with our family!
Dipper and Mabel pull out the hats Stan made for them, sighing with regret
Soos: Dude, I guess the real lake monster is you two!
We’re actually kinda spoiled as a fandom; what other fandom has both an image-storage site/forum AND a fanfiction archive entirely dedicated to My Little Pony?
@YetAnotherBrony
Absolutely. This site has centralized so many components of the fandom it’s crazy. Gravity Fall’s Booru is so barely maintained, that finding an image with two conditions (E.g. pictures of Grunkle Stan where all the images are SFW) is better attempted on Google.
