I really love Alice Cooper’s Brutal Planet album, it sounds like a death match from the stone age.

Something underground doesn’t stack up to is there’s songs that are so well composed, especially if you suffer PTSD you can listen to a certain song nonstop and it turns into this big acid trip with more nostalgia each time.
 
Each instrument compliments each other’s role, instead of one you hear commentary from every other instrument.
 
The bass, the drums guitar and vocals all blending into one sound.
 
All of these features give music the backbone to withstand the test of time. And become, a classic.

What are people’s thoughts on Dark Funeral?
 
They often get criticized for being generic but I like them, they’ve got pretty solid riffs and atmosphere.
 
The Secrets Of The Black Arts and Where Shadows Forever Reign are the best by them for sure.

I ain’t a fan of them or black metal in general but I do like some songs from them as well as Mayhem & Immortal.  
honestly, I just really like their name, Dark Funeral, it just sounds so cool.

I agree that their name sounds pretty cool, their logo is pretty sweet looking as well.

Their music is good. Not great, but enjoyable enough. I really like their guitar tone. It almost sounds like an organ… which is appropriate, given their name.
 
And from what I’ve seen, they put on a pretty good live show.
