If the writers are thinking of giving him a redemption arc, they better be willing to bust his ass for everything he’s done. Though in truth, I’m really hoping that won’t be the case.

I doubt he’ll get redemption; the only hope of that is redemption equals death, at best.

Well the writers have done a lot of things we didn’t think they would do: kill Penny and Pyrrha, move the story away from Vale, actually give the protags a decisive victory. I’m not taking any options off the table.

As I said in a previous post, life isn’t always so convenient to set you up for a final showdown with your nemesis. Maybe RT is going that route.
 
But I also said that it’d be an awful waste to build her up for four Volumes and then unceremoniously get her punted off a cliff by someone who was way out of her league.
 
Then again, RT has done that before cough cough _Sienna cough.
 
My hope is that Cinder survives and forms a third faction that hates both Salem (who has proven that she really was using her a as a tool this whole time) AND Ozpin (for hiding the secret of the Maidens from her).

If the Maiden powers even go to her. It’s quite likely that a woman can not hold more than one Maiden’s power. That and Maiden powers.don’t go to the victor, just to the last (suitable candidate) girl or woman the dying Maiden thinks of. Usually this is the killer, yes, if they are a suitable host, but not always.
 
Speaking of Raven, it’s quite clear that she and Adam share some sort of connection…
