I admit, it was flawed yes, so I’m not some kinda “Sonic movie apologist,” but at the same time I wasn’t really as upset about it as the rest of the internet. Still, I think people still flipping out over it,
despite the fact, they’re giving in to their demands, and improving it is a bit overkill, and
that is what I have a problem with.
Honestly, given how hard it is to please Sonic fans, some will probably hate the new design no matter how it looks. Personally, I’m more concerned about the story itself, as honestly it doesn’t look like it’ll be an award winner, but hopefully it’ll still be entertaining.
As for first impressions, it kinda depends on the situation. If I decided I didn’t like a game just from the first time I played it, I’d hate alot of games I now love best.
And as for Cats, I do agree making them more cat-like like the original stage show would be better. It’s basically the opposite situation from Sonic, where Sonic needs to be less realistic/hedgehog-like, while cats needs to be a bit more cat-like.
