I understand Sonic isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a li’l messed up, some actually derive pleasure, or practically touch themselves to the thought of the Sonic franchise dying, and wanting the fans to suffer, and such…
 
They also fail to realize if Sonic or Sega does go under, some other company will either buy off Sega, or their game catalogue, and probably keep the Sonic series going. (Like Konami buying Hudson’s games, or Warner Brothers buying Mortal Kombat/Midway’s game catalogue.)

What I’m seeing is that some people were doing a Sonic RP on Twitter (I know, I’m shocked, too) and the person playing as Shadow used a racial slur. If that’s different from what others are talking about, then I guess two dumb things are happening with it.

I mentioned that a page or so back. Nice to see the series again, (despite it’s ups & downs) but a shame it oddly lacks the final “Metarex” season. (Especially, sense I haven’t seen all of that.)
 
AoStH is also still on Netflix, but only the first 20 episodes unfortunately, which I already have on DVD.

I honestly wonder if Chris thorndike, who has a very infamous reputation among the fanbase, is just as bad in the Japanese version or if it is only the 4Kids version.

I’ve seen the Japanese version, and honestly it’s not much better then the 4Kids dub. It also has goofy sounding voices, and such frankly.  
Maybe I’m not as much of an anime purist as some people are, but I don’t see why many insist the Japanese version to everything is better.  
Surprisingly, the Japanese version also had some of those American sounding classic cartoon sound effects too, that wasn’t just 4Kids trying to “Americanize” the show.
 
Also, having to read subtitles kinda distracts from the show to me.  
I will admit it was annoying they cut out “Live & Learn” from the SA2 arc episode, (and 4Kids editing out english text signs made no sense) but I assume that was due to 4Kids’ ignorance that Sega owned that song.
 
I will say that scene of “Amy and the annoying kid on the train” is actually funnier in the english version, because Amy actually had thought dialogue during that in the Japanese version which kinda ruined the tension IMO, and made what she does more predictable. So the english version has some perks.

Probably because of how 4Kids took a very notable change when they launched the short lived fox box. Especially their treatment of One Piece, which was one of the worst dubs ever done.
