Idea for the 3rd or 4th SW Anthology film: SPLINTER OF THE MIND’S EYE: A STAR WARS STORY  
It would take place in between ANH and ESB, and would more or less be based on the 1978 Alan Foster novel. Oh, and STAR WARS SHOULD CANONICALLY END AT EPISODE IX!

Basically, resisting the dark side isn’t a single action you take or some singular mental fight but a life long dedication
 
This is why Luke has a character arc in TLJ  
Seeing his nephew have a possible turn to the dark side possibly triggered him and having him have a momentary lapse to the dark side  
He failed  
The effects of that moment led him to isolating himself

Dooku crash landed near his base and he took him hostage. When Obi-Wan and Anakin came to collect Dooku, he spiked their drinks and took them hostage too. Tried to ransom all 3, but they escaped.

Season 1 of Clone Wars - Dooku crashed while escaping Obi-Wan and Anakin, Hondo and his crew picked him up and took him hostage, then offered him to the Republic. When Anakin and Obi-Wan came to pick him up, they were taken hostage. Because as Hondo’s mom apparently once told him: “Son, if one hostage is good, then two is better, and three - well, that’s just very good business!”
