it’s not even a jamie episode (they imagined buddy as jamie). but yeah it doesn’t give anything to the main story unless the buddy books will give steven additional info (off-screen).

Oh i don’t mind it not contributing to the larger story, i’m fine with some bottle episodes now that we don’t have a pressing Arc, i just hate him as a character and wish they would stop using him,

That’s how people feel about Lars, but he;‘s not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, nether is Jamie.  
It was a world building episode and they had the likeness of Jamie(and as OptimusPrimevil said it wasn’t really him) in it, deal with it.

Lars is a foil, Lars contributes to the depth of the show, Jamie is a one note PoS character who belongs in Spungebob or some other brain dead show,

I always thought it was out of character for Steven to hate Kevin as much as he did.
 
I mean he’s had several gems try to kill him and he’s pretty nice to them as could be but then Kevin is just being a douchebag and Steven acts like he just stabbed him in the back.

My god you are negative about anything you don’t like.  
If you don’t enjoy it you call it out for dragging the show down, even when it’s meant to help with character and/or world building, the things that helps the show in the long run.
