I do find it funny you say that. Considering there have been many who have been attacked under false pretenses and republicans have been targeted and even shot.  
But then as soon as that happen those saying “Muh consequence” and have made people less then human say  
“One rule for thee, another for we”
 
At some point, it will come around to bite them in the ass and this might surprise some; I don’t want that to happen.
 
Look at what happened to that one woman who did that ISIS-esque photo op with the Trump head thing. She was fired and she acted like she was a victim. The same “Consequence” said that her freedom of speech, when they were the ones to use the “Consequence” argument. Well there is it, but since they like what she did, she shouldn’t be applicable to those consequences.
 
They are hypocrites. If they agree with the message, then it should be allowed and when they don’t it should be outlawed.  
And then they want me to feel sorry for them when it backfires on them. Well, I’m not going to.

No, it’s not “They’ll do the work Americans wont” They do the work for cheap, and then you screw over those workers since they aren’t willing to work for pocket change to feed their family.
 
Well, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. You either got to be for those workers, or the illegals screwing them over.

Also, once the people that use the “Consequence” find themselves on that side. It doesn’t take long for them to change their tune right quick.
So it’s really how Shirani put so bluntly:

It’s their true feelings, but the second they’re getting silenced; “But what about freedom of speech!?”
 
You two both seem to be overlooking something. No one is having their freedoms taken away here. Those Nazis are perfectly free to continue expressing their stupid, stupid views as much as they want elsewhere.
 
But they are not now, nor have they ever been, guaranteed a platform to express those views.
 
Twitter, and Reddit, are both businesses. And yes, they provide a platform for people to talk and discuss and express views, but the rules regarding what kind of content is allowed is entirely theirs to make. They are not obligated to allow Nazis a place to spew their hateful bile.

I already no the answer to that: No.
 
Which is why they always demand it be taken, but only for certain people. Those that espouse “redistribution” never seem willing to part with their property, seeing it’s different because reason.  
It’s all just “That person shouldn’t have what he does, but I’m allowed my 3 estates and several possessions.”
 
Or just rich kids that have wealth, but are just mad at daddy.

The 20% tax cut in pass through businesses and those that deal in real estate will be useful. We own a few properties, might just reorganize under an LLC and get the tax break.
 
I still don’t support the bill, but hey if it’s going to be law may as well benefit from it.

All I said is that, considering the way he went and ruined the French Revolution with his raging paranoia (allowing for the bourgeoisie to replace the nobility as the dominant class under the Directory, a position they kept after Napoleon took over and held through every regime change thereafter), Robespierre should be considered an appaling role model for revolutionaries everywhere. He might not have always been this way, but the rivers of blood spilled during his Reign of Terror will forever taint his legacy.

I’m going to put this here, since it’s a good take on ever social system  
Pretty much lays out pretty well why socialism can’t work, and why capitalism is as successful as it is. Mostly because it’s the most meritartic system out there, but most tend to ignore that.
 
I mean you guys are always telling people “Go read this! Watch this!” Why not return the favor with a similar gesture.

the communist thought is about communal ownership of property. Which means anyone can use anything that is not of personal use or ownership. This means they see personal and private property as separate ( with private property being a special kind of evil to them) unlike us capitalists that see them as one and the same. That’s why “ownership of the means of production.” is usually not a thing unless it is mass produced. Which means whatever YOU make (that is not mass produced) is your personal property. However I don’t think commune or his fellow communists see it that way. You share everything or else you are unpersoned.

I just like labor unions and employee protections that actually favor the employees and are not just lip service.
 
Rein in the big corps so they can’t do scummy shit, strip away that citizens United crap, and strengthen consumer and employee protection, and capitalism gets quite a bit better.
