Can’t say I don’t blame ya. Late-stage capitalism is full of many, many near-monopolies tieing up many different industries, and making it hard for smaller companies to compete. For example: almost every brand of soda (if not every brand of soda) is owned by one of three companies, the vast majority of trackage here in the US is owned by eight different railroads (CSX, Norfolk Southern, Amtrak, BNSF, Union Pacific, Canadian National, Canadian Pacific, and Kansas City Southern) who are looking to cut as many corners as possible to keep their shareholders happy at the expense of customers and long-term viability (“PSR”), Disney might as well own the entire entertainment industry, many huge internet companies are making $$$$ on selling people’s information and are doing anything they can to keep regulations from cutting that gravy-train off, etc…
Honestly, being anti-late-stage capitalism just means that you recognize the direction we’re currently heading is just gonna lead to ruin (or at least economic ruin), and we really gotta change course.
