Megacorps are one thing, what I blame is, at least here, absurd sanitary laws that require extra packaging for food, and destruction of items that have not been sold.  
Despite there’s other laws that says the opposite but eh, no matter what we do we are either mandatory or illegal.
 
Nown, what do YOU do for the environment? Come on tell us. Got an electric? only buy local stuff? GMO-free items and repair all your stuff instead of throwing them away, plant trees, recycle everything, or do you just join the crew to protest patriarchy?

Oh, oh, I love this game, let me play.
 
I buy all my meat from local, low emission farms. I recycle my plastic, metals, and cardboard. I reuse everything I can. I use public transportation rather than driving. I am slowly but surely divesting anything from China. I shop and spend on local fair where possible. I’ve reduced my meat eating to only a few meat items per week. And I walk to most places when I can.

I have to say, the attempt to shift the blame of pollution and climate change from large, transnational corporations to the individual has been somewhat successful. Most people don’t think critically enough to see who contributes the most.

Just 100 companies have been the source of more than 70% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions since 1988, according to a new report.
The Carbon Majors Report (pdf) “pinpoints how a relatively small set of fossil fuel producers may hold the key to systemic change on carbon emissions,” says Pedro Faria, technical director at environmental non-profit CDP, which published the report in collaboration with the Climate Accountability Institute.
 
But I’m sure going after the average Joe who needs to drive to get to work is more socially acceptable than calling out the companies responsible for this mess from your point of view.

A report on the War on Terror came out and the short version is that from the start nobody knew what they were doing, where they were doing it, or even had an end goal in mind. The closest thing to a strategy was more or less, I kid you not, lie about all results and just spend money until something happens.
