To what extent should a parents be able to control their teenager? A lot (Yes) or not a lot (No)? 
Parents are just as faulty and imperfect as your typical human being I don't trust parents. I've learned not to trust parents. The belief that parents know what's best for you comes from the misguided idea that parents know what's best in general. That simply isn't true. Parents are just as likely to be misinformed, petty, childish, or just downright delusional. You could have racist or homophobic parents. You could have parents who think it's a good idea to vote Trump. You could have parents who use Reddit and whine about some liberal conspiracy. You could have parents who are just easily set off and childishly abuse their power over their children. That being said, Teenagers are not the bright minds that they often like to believe they are. And if somebody doesn't stop them, they will do something unbearably dangerous. As a parent, it's hard to get past our biological demands to protect our own kids from the world's bullshit, but there is absolutely a time when we have to. The problem is knowing the line. Yeah, it's probably a good idea to flat-out prevent them from tattooing racial slurs on their face... But it may be to their benefit to just let them find out on their own that speaking like a gang member when they're trying to be taken seriously isn't going to work out in most social non-gang settings. Personally, I think parenting needs more oversight. Parents in general have way too much control over their children, and children are often not taken seriously by the authorities. Parents need SOMEBODY they have to answer to in order to make sure that their asshole tendencies aren't affecting their children. The right to raise your child the way you want is superseded by the fact that said child is going to become a member of society and we'd like them to be a PRODUCTIVE member of society. 

Do you believe that sexism against men exists? 
Not In The Typical Sense There are many things that unfairly affect men in modern society, however they are caused by the same social systems and gender roles that unfairly affect women. The "Patriarchy" is the cause of both of these. Feminist movements are killing two birds with one stone. And any remaining social issues are likely to be dealt with after the fact. 

Self-sacrifice is sometimes necessary 
It is foolish to throw your own life away Ideas, beliefs, and personal identity means nothing once you're dead. There is very little worth sacrificing yourself for, save perhaps the life of a loved one. But for a political movement or a belief? You'd be more valuable to that cause alive than you would be if you were dead. 

Should Kids Be Able To Vote 
That's a terrible idea While kids may be smart, by and large they are not exposed to most political issues in a sensible light. So they lack the required knowledge and experience to be able to make a good voting decision. Most adults can't make a good voting decision because they only ever engage in politics sporadically. This is especially true in countries like Canada, where the "Hot Button" issues that Americans are constantly stamping their feet about were dealt with long ago and so it lacks the sexy "GUNS UR TERRORISM WINZ" sideshow, and as such makes politics boring for most people. I don't think it's fair to ask children to start caring about fiscal policy and the social safety net when they aren't in a position where any of that matters to them AND they're still developing basic life skills. You have to take these things one step at a time. Also, I don't trust parents as far as I can throw them. I have no trouble believing that there are some parents who would decide their child's vote for them and then make that child vote the way the parent wants them to. 

Do you believe that Anti-Feminists are Anti-Equality? 
Strawmen Do Not Equal Impact You can cherry-pick as many angry tumblr posts, twitter feeds, or facebook screenshots as you want. It's not going to make the delusion that Feminism has somehow turned evil any less crazy. By and large, Anti-Feminists are fighting a villain that doesn't exist. In the same way that the people who keep spouting "Family Values" or "States Rights" are just masking homophobia and racism respectively. I would have an easier time believing that "Anti-Feminism" was a legitimate political opinion if it weren't coming mostly from the mouths of dipshit southerners hankering for "da good ol' days" and excrement-flinging Channer-brats who are just salty because "The mean Sarkeesian lady said a bad thing about video games that one time." 

Who Owns the Land? Europeans or Native-Americans? 
Speaking as a Native American... A territory war was fought, and the natives lost that war. Welcome to the real world. It sucks. More to the point, Europeans don't own this continent either. The continent belongs to the elected federal governments of the United States and Canada. And Native Americans are the natural born citizens of those countries. 

Can the idea of Transgender be abused? 
Not in civilized countries Most countries that actually recognize Transgender rights also have legal change of gender policies that operate on the same framework as a legal change of name. As such, in said countries, issues of restroom abuse or other similar concerns is easily dealt with using the phrase "Can I see your ID, ma'am?" I can see how this is an issue in the United States, but the United States has difficulty recognizing basic human rights in general. When universally accepted concepts like Gun Control, Socialized Health Care and Marriage Equality are treated as these big uphill battles in the US and not in most other First World countries, there's a sign of bigger concerns with the country as a whole than "Transgender being abused." 

Does the media portray women cheating as romantic but male cheating as wrong 
Only In Cheesy Erotica Women cheating is only portrayed as romantic in pseudo-erotic novels aimed directly at women who want to get lost in a self-indulgent fantasy. It's a silly fantasy, but one that people are more than entitled to. I don't think it's fair to begrudge somebody for their fantasies unless their fantasies are also crimes. Although I could certainly understand why it would strike a nerve if it's your wife having those fantasies. Even if that were the case, in real life the double-standard is flipped in the opposite direction more often than it's not. And most writers are aware of that and try very hard not to reinforce that. Real talk: Cheating is a symptom of a failing relationship. Regardless of how kindly said cheater is portrayed, it's evident that the pre-existing relationship is either over, or is about to be over either way. 

Do you believe schools give false information about the Confederacy in the modern society?
Slavery or States Rights, it doesn’t matter By and large the Confederacy was about Slavery. Any claim that it was about States Rights was nothing more than a purr word. Even so, in 2015, the concept of States Rights is obsolete in an interconnected world. There’s no reason for an individual state to operate it’s own little autonomous fiefdom in the middle of it’s arbitrarily drawn borders. The only reason it does is because too many Americans are irrationally paranoid that any government will automatically turn into the Dark Empire once it reaches a certain size.
