Whelp the EU is having a crisis.
France has elections in April and there’s a 2-1 chance that the anti-EU candidate will win their presidency by a landslide.
Greece wants out.
Spain wants out.
On the other hand the African Union is moving forwards to making their own version of it. They’re moving forward to allowing passports to go through all 54 countries and they are slowly moving towards a single currency.
I’m going to talk out my ass for a second:
Personally what I think will happen is that certain countries will leave the EU but the remaining countries will either make it stronger or try to federalize it. What I mean by this is more than likely Spain and France will probably eventually leave; but on the other hand countries like Poland, Hungary, Italy and Sweden will probably become the United States of Europe.
As much as I shit on the EU a union for Africa might not be bad. . . Some of the countries in Africa are super shitty right now so free trade agreement would benefit them, not sure how I feel about a common currency though.
